Custom E-newsletter & Portal Solution for ASSA ABLOY

ASSA ABLOY is a global manufacturer of door opening products, with the Americas division headquartered in New Haven, CT. Their doors and frames division includes six brands, each selling various types of doors for commercial buildings – schools, healthcare facilities, government facilities, offices, stores, etc. They sell through a network of distributors.

The marketing team of ASSA ABLOY’s door division needed an exclusive online portal for distributors to access a wide range of information. The functionality Medium Well created starts with a custom designed e-newsletter that each distributor receives. Links in the e-newsletter launch an online portal with a webpage for each brand that house.

Key to the client’s needs was that each brand’s portal page act as an eye-catching “brochure” with multiple photos showcasing the products. Each brand’s page has a slider gallery of images followed by sales and technical documents, training and lead-time info, customer service contacts, and more. Multiple photos, documents and links easily accessible via one page per brand!

Collaborating with the team at Medium Well has been one of the most seamless agency experiences we’ve had. The portal was custom designed and built using HTML, CSS3, Javascript, jQuery and PHP. It’s responsive, making it easy to view on a computer, tablet or smartphone. The e-newsletter was custom-designed and coded to work with the client’s internal e-newsletter system.

The end result is an easy-to-use way for ASSA ABLOY’s team to share information with distributors, and for distributors to have an easy reference tool at their fingertips.

NOTE: In May 2015, Medium Well became Harris Web Works. This new name reflects our commitment to providing a complete range of online business services, and builds upon the reputation of our founder, Matt Harris. This project was completed while we were still Medium Well.
